The device offers advanced features for photographers seeking precision in their work. After manually configuring the frame, aperture, and lens focal length, it automatically calculates the hyperfocal distance, effectively identifying both the near and far limits of depth of field, including infinity.

Similarly, users can manually input frame, aperture, lens focal length, and focus distance to receive accurate depth of field evaluations at both the near limit and infinity.

An efficient memory function allows the device to automatically retain previous settings, alleviating the need to re-enter values for subsequent sessions.

The device supports a wide range of frame formats including Full Frame, APS-C, Medium Format, M43, as well as various sizes such as 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, 6x9, 4x5, 5x7, 8x10, and 1 inch.
